Škoda Fabia RS Rally2

Škoda Motorsport has opened a new chapter in its successful involvement in the world of rallying. After months of development and thorough testing, it has unveiled the all-new Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 competition car. Let's take a closer look at this new car together.

More power and higher top speed

Škoda Motorsport has developed a new engine for the Fabia RS Rally2 and further optimised the time-proven powertrain. The Fabia RS Rally2's 1.6-litre turbo engine is based on the 2.0 TSI from the EA888 engine series with an output of around 214 kW (289 hp). The maximum 432-Nm torque is distributed across all four wheels via a 5-speed sequential gearbox and two differentials.

Design and aerodynamics

The production Škoda Fabia has the best drag coefficient in its class. Škoda Motorsport experts used this perfect foundation when developing the aerodynamic package for the Fabia RS Rally2. With careful attention to detail, the team managed to almost double the downforce compared to its predecessor – a huge advantage on the track, as more downforce allows for higher cornering speeds.

Safer in all conditions

Crew safety is always the top priority. The Fabia RS Rally2 is equipped with a state-of-the-art safety roll-cage and meets all strict FIA homologation requirements. The car is designed to provide maximum protection in all conditions – whether on tarmac or gravel.

Škoda Motorsport

The Škoda Fabia is among the most successful rally vehicles in the world: From 2015 to 2022, the rally version of the popular Czech small car dominated the WRC2 category as the Fabia Rally2 and Fabia Rally2 evo. The more than 470 units built by Škoda Motorsport had clinched 1,710 victories by April 2022.
